Took a flight from Bali to Labuan Bajo, Flores…rested the night at the Sudamala Beach Resort, a nice beach side resort….next day my friend and tour organizer, Christopher, Komodo Tours organized to have me picked up at 6am...had a breakfast carry bag with me...drove to the Harbour and hopped on to a speed boat which a raced on the ocean cutting through the waves to take me to the most astonishing sights of Padar Bay, Pink Beach, Manta Point and ultimately to have a close encounter with the King himself, the majestic, vicious, master ambusher hulk...the Komodo Dragon....the encounter did send a chill up my spine....a bite full of deadly bacteria can bring life to a slow and miserable end...

What a trip indeed....returned to the hotel by 6pm...after a refreshing shower hit the beach side bar playing live music and enjoyed a couple of Single Malts alongwith wonderful memories of the day....
